We’re excited to announce a game-changing development in the mining industry. Xylem, a global leader in developing innovative water solutions, has acquired our uniquely designed Bartail range of dewatering pumps.
Designed and developed in Western Australia, Bartail submersible pumps are a testimony to our commitment to solve efficiency problems in the mining sector. These pumps are the result of using technology and practical application, tailored to withstand the corrosive and erosive environments synonymous with mining.
A Collaborative Success Story
Our journey began with a Western Australian gold mine that was battling inefficiencies in their dewatering process. Traditional submersible pumps needed repairs every 67 days, a downtime we aimed to drastically reduce. We set an ambitious goal to create a pump that could function for 300 days without repair.

Setting Industry Standards with Bartail Pumps
Our first prototypes exceeded all expectations, operating for 352 days before requiring repairs. After further design changes, we’ve set the bar even higher. Our refined Bartail pumps now boast an operational span of over 400 days without repair, over six times longer than the industry standard. This extended operational life has cut dewatering costs by an impressive 52% and simplified operations.
Validated by Xylem and Appreciated by the Mining Sector
Bartail’s performance and efficiency have not only been proven in mines but also validated by Xylem through rigorous tests in their European facilities. Our client base in the mining sector has also experienced similar improvements, endorsing Bartail as a trusted solution.
