We laser scan worn or problematic mining equipment to perform wear analysis, make design improvements and ensure fast and reliable quality checks.

We laser scan objects and environments of all sizes to produce a ‘point cloud’. This can be done on site or at our workshop in Perth, Western Australia depending on the size of the object.

We send the CAD model to one of our advanced manufacturing facilities depending on the materials required. All manufactured items undergo extensive quality assurance checks.

An engineeer uses the point cloud to develop a CAD model and compares this with the original scanned data to identify where design improvements can be made.

3D Asset Management

The scanned data and new CAD model is used to create measurable 3D flythroughs, visual asset, training and document hotspots.

We laser scan all sizes of mining equipment from bearing housings and pump parts, through to entire refineries.
