7D Team was founded in 2016 by mining engineers who saw the potential of using laser scanning and augmented reality to provide training and troubleshoot machinery failures on mine sites.

Since then, we have expanded our service offering to provide research and design services for a wide range of mining machinery.

Pumps are our main specialty, including slurry and dewatering pumps. We have also custom engineered tools for a safer work environment, developed specialised material for shaft sleeves (Wolfram), designed remote pump monitoring systems, and automatic pump lubricators.

In 2023, our Bartail Berserker range of underground dewatering pumps was acquired by water technology provider, Xylem. This acquisition has allowed us to pursue our goals of commercialising other new products, including our patent pending Sandgroper Water Free Seal and Bulwark Bearing Guard.
